Islanders GM Garth Snow will be inducted into the University of Maine’s Sports Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 14 as part of the school’s homecoming celebration. (Click here to view link)

[[[ Garth Snow ('92) is one of the greatest goaltenders in college hockey history. He led the Black Bears with an undefeated season in 1992-93 on their way to their first national championship. He owned nine school records at the time of graduation and represented the United States in the 1994 Olympics. On top of that, he became the general manager of the New York Islanders franchise in 2006. ]]]
